Mavis is better than Percy and the story is better adapted. Mavis hasn’t had any experience with pulling passenger trains. Percy has pulled passengers and freight and I don’t understand why the writers thought Percy was incompetent at it.
Better than the original though for my headcanon I use Bill and Ben for The Spotless Record and Duck for Something Fishy to replace Thomas' role.
Incredible episode Its just like the original episode but instead of Thomas It was Diesel. I like It the friendship of Henry and Arthur because those two have something in common they working with fish they don't mind the smell.

What a fantastic to introduce Arthur into your series. It works well and I do like how it was combined with 'Something Fishy'. A shame Diesel wasn't caught out on the brake van incident. I really lived the music video at the end. Well done to everyone involved with the video 😀.
Why did thomas had edward's whistle at the start?
You might say Diesel is in ‘hot water’ for his ‘fruitless’ deviousness.
I love how the details of the story were changed. I prefer Diesel instead of Thomas too.

Thomas was such a jerk in Series 7 along with Percy. They bullied Salty, Arthur and Henry. Thomas took care and showed sympathy for Henry in Series 1 and couldn’t in Series 7. But Series 1 is supposed to portray Thomas as a child Series 7 is to portray Thomas as an adult. Bill and Ben should’ve had Thomas and Percy’s roles.
@@theburpman8006 Well Thomas DID call Henry fat and tell him to exercise back in Thomas and The Guard, but your point still stands, Thomas playing such a trick on a newbie who has only just arrived and done nothing wrong was a bit far for his character, and notably poor writing considering the evidence of his maturity over the previous seasons. It wouldn't hurt to let other characters take his and Percy's roles in Spotless Record and Salty's Stormy Tale, the main characters can't have ALL the attention, for Christ's sake! What part of that do people not understand?!?! >:( I do agree Bill and Ben would suit Stormy Tale better, but I think Avery's approach here by using Diesel for Spotless Record is perfect, it really ties in seemlessly with Something Fishy, and brings in Arthur's introduction full circle stronger than what the official show gave us.
Bill and Ben would be good for Thomas and Percy’s roles in A Spotless Record and Duck for Thomas’s role in Something Fishy intially. But I think if Avery adapted it into way that would be more suitable for Diesel in both roles, it is phenomenal.
